Office 365 fix

If you happen to be unable to add your account to Outlook, the following fix can be used:

The error may look like this (See image below)


  1. In the top left corner of Outlook, click on Files / Files
  2. Click on info (See image)


  4. Then click on "account settings" and then "Manage Profiles"

  5. In the window that just opened, click "New ..." (See image)


  7. In this step, enter your email address and click advanced options and check "Let me set up my account manually" and press "Connect"


  8. Select either "IMAP" or "POP"


  9. Type the server and port information provided above
  10. After you have completed step 7, just press next, and then it should work.
